pretty much. it's depressing but I can't see any way out, and even if there were a way out motherfuckers don't want to take it because MUH GUNS. a lot of the gun nut side has literally just come to the point where "these deaths are the price we pay for liberty." how do you counter that, when people are literally ready to accept a dozen dead kids just to keep their gun safe? I have no clue.
