Should'a knew her place. Can't have the inmates running the prison, or something. Lesser folk gotta be reminded of how things were, are, and always will be sometimes. /s
Jokes aside, as mundane as it is sad. We act surprised when this happens, but should we be? Same species as when every other atrocity was committed. What's changed to wonder why stupid shit like this still happens?
Feel no love for her considering how crazy theft has gotten (we had 10 different shoplifters before noon on Saturday), but that Walgreens employee was in the wrong as well. Per company policy, we are not allowed to follow criminals out of the store, also not allowed to carry while on the job.
Thing I have worked on: determining appropriate fines for Walgreens because they instituted a billing scheme with no logical purpose except to defraud Medicare. They built an automated system to take in prescription requests, which would then flag them as received or not. If they weren't picked up within 7 days, the system would flag the scrip to be recycled back into the appropriate pill bins so that they could be used by someone else. All fine, except that the system would still kick out a bill to Medicare. Not only that, but if the original recipient did come in after the 7th day, after the pharmacist refilled the prescription, the system would kick out a SECOND bill for the same pills. This went uncaught for years until someone in mid-management saw it happening and raised it to the higher ups, who first denied it, then promised to look into it, then sent the guy a commendation for helping them stay compliant (without ever changing anything), and then finally when he realized they were still doing it, blew the whistle and they transitioned into claiming the system was essentially autonomous and the double billing was a harmless oversight.
I don't remember the exact estimate of how much they overbilled Medicare during that time but it was several hundred million dollars.
Yeah, that sounds like 'harmless oversight' levels of theft. Half a billion in 'minor fines' sounds good.
I mean that's not shoplifting, that's armed robbery lol. Major diff between people stealing some toothpaste, deodorant and other shit off the shelves to go resell to make some money versus showing up with guns and threatening people (or just threatening people and pretending to have weapons). Company gives 0 fucks about you, don't give any fucks back about their merchandise.
Same people. It's a major crew that has hit all of the WAG's in the city since the Floyd unrest. The product gets flipped online or at flea markets. Two of the ring leaders have been arrested recently and they've been kept locked up because of that shooting threat. The other 10+ members are still doing their shit, though.

Ole Kyle Rittenhouse is so stupid he was permanently ineligible to join the military cause his scores were that bad. One of his handlers for his trial regrets propping him up.
How the fuck do you score a 10 on the asvab

Seriously.
i just took the test and also got a 10
out of 12 questions on a sample test
apparently i know nothing about mechanics
Damn, to call that a craptacular score would be an understatement.
Regarding his shitty history, IIRC a video was released of him beating up on a girl in a parking lot after a verbal dispute. It's not surprising in the least that MAGA turds can't get enough of this guy.
The Crumbley parents got 10-15 years each for giving their son a gun that was used in the Michigan school shooting

It's shoot-at-the-person-in-the-wrong-driveway season again.
Well, between inflation and the rising cost of ammo due to Ukraine and Israel, nobody can afford gun violence anymore.
