Bio on the Rittenhouse judge.
Schroeder is the longest-serving judge in Wisconsin, presiding over cases in Kenosha County since 1983. During a recent hearing he said he believes he has presided over more homicide trials than any judge in the state.
He is known locally for speaking his mind in the courtroom, and for giving defendants stern, and sometimes painful to listen to, lectures during sentencing.
He also has a reputation as being harsh at sentencing. And because some 90 percent of criminal prosecutions end in plea agreements rather than trial, that reputation for tough sentences often outweighs his reputation at trial.
When criminal charges are filed the case is assigned to a judge, and defendants can ask that the case be reassigned. Schroeder’s reputation at sentencing is such that he has been the judge with the highest number of substitution requests in the system. This year, there were so many substitution requests that the chief judge imposed a rule that any substitution requests for Schroeder automatically be resigned to Racine County Circuit Court Judge Robert Repischak, who had a similarly high number of substitution requests.
A former prosecutor said Schroeder’s unpredictability on sentences makes it hard to negotiate pleas, and that that leads efforts to move cases from his courtroom.
i mean there probably won't be justice but on memes alone this is in my top 5 favorite courts

According to her website, Dimitrius “has consulted in over 1,000 trials and picked over 600 juries.” Among the defendants whose cases she worked include the following: “Night Stalker (Richard Ramirez), McMartin Preschool, Rodney King, Reginald Denny, John duPont, Francis Ford Coppola [“Pinocchio trial”], O.J. Simpson, Jayson Williams, Scott Peterson, Kobe Bryant, Robert Blake, Joseph Nacchio (CEO of Qwest) and criminal and civil cases related to the Enron prosecution.” She was also a “body language expert” for ABC’s Dancing With The Stars.
In a 2016 “Inside Edition” profile, Dimitrius recalled that she helped select a so-called “perfect juror” for the O.J. Simpson criminal prosecution: “a female African-American with high school education or less.”
“The result,” the television show added, was “was a jury more inclined to be sympathetic to Simpson — eight black women, one black man, one Hispanic man and two white women.”
The program noted that “Dimitrius observed how the jury reacted to each witness and advised the defense on [its] line of questioning” during the Simpson saga.
you know i never looked too closely into OJ's case and always wondered how he got off but uhhh ya more pieces are falling into place
looks like a case for the rural juror
The only way the prosecution can win is if they can prove Rittenhouse is black.
