i went into the trial with one set of facts and an idea of what happened and came out with a pretty different picture, people who didn't watch any of the trial or any recaps are probably gonna be disappointed with the result i suspect. i could be wrong he could still be found guilty, especially for rosenbaum, but there were witnesses to how hostile and hyper aggressive that guy was acting and the drone video showed him lunging at kyle when he shot him. i also didn't realize he had family there and worked there so the whole bit about being out of state and traveling across state lines is kinda misleading. definitely not as black and white as initial reports made it seem (as usual)

the prosecution made fairly strong closing arguments, he was kind of douche most of the trial so that was probably the prosecutions strongest moment, but that is probably usually the case

i dont know if beyond reasonable doubt was met though, certainly not for the 2nd and 3rd shooting. not that my opinion matters, all up to the jurors now

There is clear evidence both in testimony and video that at least for the one shooting it was an act of self defense.

I think Rittenhouse is a douche and was going for a legal kill. He knew what he was doing. This got a ton of media hype and a ton of people on the left frothing over it, and I get that.
