we should probably start by holding law enforcement accountable and not the people who legally allow a customer to purchase something. dude shoulda been flagged 101 different ways and they all failed, there are so many people to hold accountable

Perhaps there are multiple problems that need addressing, including issues that culminate in "mental illness" and driving people to crime in other gun-related incidents that would also benefit from the tackling of social issues.
<insert JJJ laugh gif here>
I will put forth at least one idea; allowing guns to be purchased on payment plans is not a good idea.

A majority of this shit I blame on social media.
-Poor mental health
-Wanting to shoot up a school/grocery store for fame or to make a point
-The convenience of being able to talk to a bunch of idiots on 4chan and similar sites
This increase in gun violence isn’t because the laws are any different than they were 30 years ago or because it’s any more convenient to buy one than it used to be.
It’s because we as a society are pretty much all mentally screwed up. And it’s cause of social media brain washing us, seeing how things are “supposed to be”, comparing ourselves to the rich, being drowned in advertisements 24/7, being able to collaborate and share ideas with racists/rapists/wanna be murderers from around the world with just a few clicks of the mouse.
There’s also lack of religion nowadays. Most people aren’t religious anymore so when you die there’s no “eternal hell” or whatever to worry about.
Hard disagree on this one. Religion itself has been used many times to justify violence. "Fear of damnation" definitely contributes to maintaining a moral society, but I would argue that it is minor compared to logical and personal morality. Thinking and knowing that going on a killing spree is bad for society as a whole.
Damn, didnt realize I'd get shit on that bad.
1) Yes, you have the religious nutjobs, but a majority of US shootings aren't religiously based.
2) I dont know what MTG is? Magic the gathering?
3) I'm not religious and I agree if you're only good because you worry about consequences, then you're not good.
All I'm stating is there's a rise in atheists and a rise in gun violence. Gotta be some correlation... :/
I can't find my laughing bender gif...
Edit: Nvm.
I forgot that the United States is the only country with Social Media and atheists.
Gotta be copypasta from somewhere, right?
EDIT: nvm
Not worth getting amped up this early in the week.
