Her testimony was prerecorded.
that's ok bud you fail to see a lot of things
You expect a response from the right of anything other than
First time??
sucks for her, but like this is just an emotional appeal we all agreed on that right?
the whole point of her is to sway the hearts of everyone in congress, the same way any sort of pro life person would attempt to sway my opinion with some sort of pro-child rhetoric or images of blended fetuses.
i don't disagree with the tactic i just don't think it should work and i doubt that it will.
the pro life scenario is a fallacious appeal to emotion because the argument isn't that we shouldn't terminate a life, but that the woman's sovereignty is more important
having a child that narrowly escaped being gunned down appeal to congressional emotion on behalf of preventing other children from being gunned down is not fallacy
no amount of dead/trauma riddled kids is going to make incompetent people enforce gun laws until it's their kids.
plenty of people who fall under that description will just complain the teachers weren’t armed
i mean... ngl if i had kids they would be going to private school, and if i was in a big city it'd be like one of them jew schools that have armed guards. if i sent my kids to public school i'd sneak a pistol into their backpacks
i ain't having kids tho so i get to remain detached and unaffected
i'm saying nothing will change

Feels like Mitch is more worried about protecting his precious supreme court picks, and not protecting children from gun violence.
