My buddy’s building was like this growing up. All the nearby Chinese food and pizza spots refused to deliver there because they were constantly robbed.

Obviously not all gun owners, but a lot of them do. They wanna fulfill that good guy with a gun fantasy.

There are gun enthusiasts who have a bunch of varied firearms that they shoot for fun and/or for actual competitive sport, those people don't scare me at all.

But there are also people who stockpile guns because it's some form of weird identity fetish, like it's their whole schtick and they carry everywhere openly because they want you to know. Those people terrify me.

Every time I've gone to the gun range with my brother, I overhear someone in the other stalls spout off what essentially boils down to that killing fantasy. Feels like to some people they don't feel complete if you don't get to actually use their gun for its intended purpose.

pretty sure this at least is a necessary thing out there though, those hogs are a menace and are frequently and necessarily culled
