Archi got a new gig?
And the Giants manage to blow another game they should have won with another bullpen meltdown. That's three games now they've had a sizable lead in the 7th inning or later they lost.
So... John Means had a no-hitter today, but it was a little more complicated then that.
Had a runner reach base on a wild pitch strike 3, but then they got caught stealing. Only known instance of a non-perfect no-hitter with no walks, no hit batters and no errors

I guess you could say the ends justified the means

High strikeout perfectos + weird almost-perfectos

Anyone got any opinions on the The Show series? Thinking of picking up The Show 21. Haven’t played a baseball game since MLB 99 lol.
Overall I really like them. I haven't played in a couple of years but they're well-made, balanced games. I used to put a ton of hours into the Road to the Show mode where you create a player, start in the minors, slowly get better, etc. A lot of fun

It's a very solid game.
Well this came out of nowhere.

Maybe they finally learned his real age and used it to break his contract
Lmao
Wow, though he's really fallen off a cliff. Wonder if he'll take a bench role to ride out the season to chase one last ring before retiring?
My guess is he will sign a 1 day contract and retire as a Cardinal.
Yank's lost, but Gleyber Torres showed how badly a shift can be busted by scoring from first on an infield single.
Saw that shit live and my entire train of thought was like:
Where the fuck is Gleyber going? Oh that’s right the shift. No one is covering third. Wait what the fuck he’s still going? Oh shit no one is covering home!
Lol

There is so much stupid present there it's amazing.
Pressly (the pitcher) just standing around doing nothing, and Maldonado somehow thinking that going to cover 3rd leaving home open was a good idea.
Yeah, watching that reminded me of early little league days.
