in his first career start, nuke laloosh walks 18 batters (a new league record!) and strikes out 18 batters (a new league record!); assuming only 4 pitch walks and 3 pitch strikeouts, that’s 126 pitches in a minimum of 6 innings (he also hits two batters that we see). how many pitches did he throw? we can assume at least 150 minimum through a minimum 6 innings
also, it’s later reported he got his first career win: he won a game where he walked 18 batters? didnt get the hook at some point? who the fuck wrote this movie
Castellanos suspended two games for sparking the fight. He's appealing. Four others fined. Yet the pitcher who plunked him gets nothing (unless he was one of the unnamed fined players).
Nick appealing his suspension:
“I pride myself and think of myself as a man of faith...”
Nick Castellanos punished more harshly for flexing versus the Astros players who cheated to win a World Series.
Fuck Manfred.
Rangers have hit Bichett, Biggio and Tellez so far tonight. Trash team full of about as much garbage as the trash cans the Astros were banging on.

Also Texas Governor Greg Abbott is effectively boycotting MLB, saying he will refuse to request their teams host any games/events due to them pulling out of Atlanta
Ah yes, need to open everything up in spite of covid because THE ECONOMY, but will refuse events from MLB, events that are HUGE drivers for...THE ECONOMY.
Its not like there arent 28 other cities that would be glad to host events.

The New York Yankees have acquired infielder Rougned Odor from the Texas Rangers.
The Rangers will receive minor league outfielders Antonio Cabello and Josh Stowers, with the Yankees also getting cash considerations in the deal.
Texas is expected to absorb almost the entirety of the $27 million owed to Odor, sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan. He's due $12 million this year, $12 million in 2022 and a $3 million buyout on a $13 million club option in 2023.
