2010 world series Hunter Pence broke his bat as he hit the ball and the splintered barrel followed up and completely changed the trajectory of the ball for a hit.

Oakland City Council is having a vote for the A's stadium today.

I've got it going on the in background while I wait for the movers to show up, definitely sounds like this shit ain't gonna pass and A's will be moving.

Just had one dumbass come in with nothing more then "Tax the rich" so that was fun

Oakland seems cursed to lose yet another historic franchise.

Honestly, it's a horrible location anyways. Besides all the infrastructure stuff, the Port of Oakland is like the 4th largest port, and where they want to build the stadium is where trucks currently stage and load cargo, so that is going to get pushed off into the streets.

I always felt it was best to just demolish the current stadium, let the A's either share Oracle (which the Giants already offered once) or play at a minor league site in Sacramento or San Jose for a couple of years, but the A's don't want to do that.
