Baseball gods giveth and taketh. One of the top posts on r/Dodgers is of Ruf's check swing for a bases loaded walk in July and the Dodger fans were told to 'Suck it up" by SF fans. Giants won that game 5-3.

Stupidly close series though. If the Giants were better with RISP then it wouldn't have come down to this call. Dodgers outscored the Giants 18-9 in the series.

Top of our rotation is pretty strong actually. Granted the LAD lineup is stronger than the Brewers but Charlie Morton + Max Fried are a strong top 2, Ian Anderson #3

Greater concerns are our bullpen and non-Freddie Freeman and Austin Riley ABs. Plenty of power but so many low OBP guys

Yeah, I mean that's why they call it a 50/50 call. Honestly shouldn't have come down to that. Had runners in scoring position the first three innings and put up goose eggs. Honestly though, we were playing with house money. The vegas win total for the giants coming into the season was 72 wins. We finished with 107, and pushed our hated rival to the brink. Only regret is this was just a best of 5 series, and not a best of 7 something like this absolutely deserved.

Even more crazy with this whole Giants/Dodgers season.

The Game 5 line score was identical through 8. Both runs scored in the 6th with the same amount of hits.

Including the WC and games 1-4 of the NLDS, both teams had 109 wins going into game 5.

Absolute slugfest between both clubs.

Hell, for the regular season, which we won 10-9, the run differential was -2 in favor of the Dodgers. The 2 runs came in garbage time of a Giants blowout win. You really can't get more even then that.
