Honestly, I expected them to lose Game 4 or 5 due to the fact that it was gonna be a full on bullpen game. At least now going into Game 6, they'll have a fresher BP with Fried hopefully finding his stuff, and can try to recover. Obviously had Morton not gotten hurt, he'd have pitched Game 5 and this series would have probably been over... but good ol Atlanta luck, especially this year with the Braves and injuries.

Time to see if they can come back strong in G6 and if Fried can look like he did late in Game 2 vs earlier... and also if the Braves can get out literally the worst player in the post season lmao


then again, me not rationalizing, I fully expect a collapse from Fried in G6 and Ian Anderson in G7, so here's hoping that doesnt happen.

Geinke getting a pinch hit at bat was weird call to make, but he did hit it after all.
Astros have had success with 2 out hits all year, it just has more exposure now with national broadcast.
They beat the Yankees in the 9th with 5runs with 2 outs earlier in the year, probably the biggest one i can remember of.

Yeah, but the runner never touched the bag and Fried's glove and knee both did after. I know 1st base has some wonky safe rules for the runner, so maybe that was it.
