I’m not a fan of show(only saw one episode of season1)but happy the studio still got it. Kyoto Animation is still one few studio that respect it’s animators and doesn’t treat them like slave labor.

I just finished Odd Taxi and I highly recommend it, I was hooked and watched 4 eps a day (total 13 eps)

Ignore the fact that it's all animals, or that it looks like a kid's cartoon. It's very dialogue heavy, and it's a mystery anime, with toppings of a thriller! But man all the characters are great I feel and it was just very interesting how everything unfolded!

Despite it being animals, it's in the middle of the furry scale (think Zootopia, but all chars have normal hands and feet) and no fan service (unlike Beastars). But you can ignore all this, you're watching it for the plot points to unfold and take place! It just happens to be animals!

edit: I can't think of a way to sell it but reading gigguk talk about it, it's definitely a fusion of No country for old men, Pulp Fiction and Taxi Driver
lots of puzzles given to you and you can try to piece them together, or watch them all fall into place

The pacing for the slime anime is atrocious. Really love the light novel and the manga is really solid too, but goddamn the anime is breaking my balls at times

We did get some cute Kumara which is great. We didn't get any Zegion or Apito which is a fucking travesty

The reel also announced that the Mugen Train arc will have a seven-episode television version, including an entirely new first episode, that will premiere on October 10. The first episode depicts Rengoku as he embarks on his journey to the Mugen Train. The remaining episodes will add about 70 new animation cuts and new background music, as well as a new trailer.
