Brotherhood is good but if you've got access to the manga I'd read that

I have read FMA:B manga and watched the series multiple times. You can do either. Both are amazing. Definitely a different experience reading it as you get a lot more depth in certain areas but this is one of those situations where the show is almost as good or as good as the written material.

Incredibly unpopular opinion but i apprecaited FMA far more than FMA:B for a variety of reasons. One of the bigger ones being that it is far less stereotypical shounen slapstick thrown in and darker overall.

the homunculi were also better in FMA in every way from creation to death

if FMA had the same animation quality as FMA:B i highly doubt that the preference would be so skewed towards the latter even though it follows the original manga. at least some people out there recommend that viewers should watch FMA followed by FMA:B but still..

If I only had time to watch one, I'd watch FMA Brotherhood. Far more complete and the ending is earned, not rushed. Very complete anime though, great plot, animation and art is on point, music is amazing, and over time they put the details in to make it seem like there's a passage of time and the cast is aging. Can't really complain about it.

The original FMA sticks to the manga for the first dozen or so episodes, then takes it's own turn and kinda becomes a fan fic.

Was reading a comment from the Moderna or Pfizer CEO saying the covid shots may end up being yearly like the flu shot, which, honestly, I'm fine with. Not fun getting a series of shots every fall (COVID /flu) but if it keeps me out of the hospital idgaf. Its getting others to be as onboard with the idea that worries me.

Are that many people afraid of needles and getting poked? Just curious, I've never been terrified of any kinds of medical appointments or shots or anything so the fear is weird.

If we continue to see variants and people still get covid despite an annual shot, expect to see more vax hesitancy. Which will lead to more mutations and more variants and less efficacy and...oh what a fun circle.
