It doesn't help that their hospitals are overcrowded, they're lacking in oxygen supply, and partisan actors are hoarding remdesivir for those willing to pay them for it. Very corrupt politics in that country. There is no shortage of stories about how you can't get much done without greasing the wheels with a bribe.
