Got my first dose of the Pfizer shot today. Barely felt anything. Felt a little lethargic later in the day but nothing too bad. Everyone tells me the 2nd shot is what puts you on your butt.
Mid-70s efficacy.
This is going to save millions of little kids and babies lives.

That is amazing. I remember having to take antimalarial drugs just to travel to Africa, that shit was not fucking fun.
yeh that's partly why Addis Ababa became preferable to Kampala, doxycycline was no fun

It is weird to watch the correlation in their stance on COVID and Gun Control.
Don't do anything, let people die, and get outraged over anyone trying to stop it.
What lol. No. It's all over the place symptom wise. First shot I had nothing. Second shot I couldn't even hold water down for 24hrs, had to get IVs, and ran a 103 temp. Co-worker had a 104.8 temp and had to go to the ER. Another co-worker had his two days ago and left early with a 103.8 fever yesterday, but was ok today.
Just take some Tylenol my ass.

I was so sore after my 2nd shot it hurt to walk.
Part of the exclusive nothing-happened-to-me club, yea boi!
Everyone else in my fam went from feeling like crap all day to slight fever.
Day 2 after my first shot and I felt like total ass today. Extremely lethargic and sore and short of breath. It doesn’t help that I have to go up and down a flight of stairs at my work several times a day. If my 2nd dose is worse I might have to take a sick day for this.
J&J vaccinations can resume after the FDA & CDC voted 10-4 that reaffirmed its guidance that the vaccine can be used for people ages 18 and up.
An additional 9 clotting cases came up upon review of records of adverse reactions to J&J. All were women and all but one were under age 50.
The FDA and CDC rejected a plan that would have called on women ages 18 to 50 to "be aware" of the risk of clotting and that they may choose another vaccine.
So 14 cases out of 7millionish? Okay...
Can't wait for the unusual menstral situation to be a nothing burger too

Probably to deter further vax hesitation than they've already caused.
It's not about supply anymore, it's about hesitancy. The JnJ bullshit hurts in that regards cause at the end of the day the vaccine is still available and safe for use. A bunch of people who don't know a lick about the science or vaccines literally fear mongering to the point of killing people.
