It's not about supply anymore, it's about hesitancy. The JnJ bullshit hurts in that regards cause at the end of the day the vaccine is still available and safe for use. A bunch of people who don't know a lick about the science or vaccines literally fear mongering to the point of killing people.

This. You don't even need to make an appointment in my county anymore. All you have to do is drive up, fill out a short form, and get your shot.

I'm honestly surprised that it didn't take at least a few more weeks for the free for all period demand to taper off. There's a huge population 16-50 that wasn't eligible until a few weeks ago right?

I'd imagine a not insignificant amount of people who aren't hesitant in that age range got special permission for the vaccine already. I'm talking healthcare workers, teachers, high risk, etc

That and the logistical difficulties of getting an alternative vaccine to a clinic that isn't able to handle Moderna or Pfizer's ultra-cold storage conditions.

Well, putting a warning doesn't mean people can't still get it.

Also, this isn't a business, so it would only be a concern if there are no other clinics available to hold it.

It seems like all the CVS/Walgreens here had Pfizer, and I think it's safe to say that means all of them are equipped for it since their chain is pretty standardly the same for every building.
