Its obviously a temporary exception due to the covid situation. No one said it has to be permanent.

i dunno if you've come to terms with this but covid protocols are probably going to be in place for the rest of our lives. even if most of the population continually keep up on their vaccination boosters there's going to be a percentage of the population, even if it's a small percentage, that don't (the homeless as the easiest example). which means that the province and country in general will need to account for people walking around that are still susceptible to covid killing them
the paid sick days aren't a temporary thing, its the new law for employers moving forward
Is that good
Why the fuck would that be good?
If it expires on Sept 25, how is it a forever permanent change?Labour Minister Monte McNaughton announced the new measure on Wednesday after Premier Doug Ford hinted earlier this week that his province would introduce its own sick day scheme. Under this program, employers will compensate workers for taking time off. The province will then reimburse employers, up to $200 a day.
The program would be retroactive to April 19, 2021, and will expire on Sept. 25, 2021.
it was a joke buddy
Aren't those supposed to be funny
humor is subjective
it could be good
What if I told you, the amount of people whom are getting vaccinated dropped, is because so many people are vaccinated, so less people need the vaccine?
The people simply not getting vaccinated for various reasons (outside of eligibility or availability) were already not going to do it. The news of the clotting in an infinitesimal amount of test subjects didn't sway enough people for that kind of drop-off.
The very initial reaction to the pandemic, was to panic buy toilet paper.
Not food, not water. TP.
Going by polls about GQP opinions on things, we can safely assume at least a quarter of people are as dumb as a sack of bricks.
So yeah, I can believe a little blood clot story in the right ears can spook a bunch of idiots.
I'm worried that a lot of women are avoiding the vaccine. Every time I tell my bros about a woman I'm interested in they tell me "no shot."
I thought we didn't have much info for pregnant women on either vaccines?
My friend who administers shots said a pregnant lady came in and insisted on getting Pfizer but they only had Moderna.
