Wonder if we're actually going to require testing and quarantine for visitors returning from India.
Update on menstrual cycles:
https://abc7news.com/covid-vaccine-m...omen/10557707/
They are leaning towards it being because of estrogen levels and recommending if irregularities happen for more than two cycles, to see a doctor about getting it balanced again.
Glad to see they are addressing the frustration that this is happening to a lot of women and that it should have been studied in the clinical trials, but wasn't.
Also, CDC still not reporting this as a common symptom, which is kinda the result of poor trials in the first place, because I still say it's a lot more common than people realized.
Also for those with female SOs it's also being reported that the vaccine is causing our lymph nodes to expand giving false positives of cancer during mammogram screenings. So just don't panic if you get screen shortly after the vaccine.
Good: Estrogen balances can easily be handled with a doctor monitoring.
Bad: Not every women has easy access to a doctor and may not seek one.
What we don't know: How long this can happen for some women. Some are reporting they have gone two cycles now with insane irregularities. But keep in mind most women have only had the shot for two cycles worth. As is, I have only had one cycle so far, and as I mentioned...was nasty to say the least. So one thing I was annoyed with the report was this idea of it being a temporary 2-month deal when we don't even know that yet.
I don't think the results will mean not to get the shot, but unfortunately, it can have a lot of unintended consequences that I hope doctors will keep in mind.
Ie. estrogen imbalances can cause: weight gain, depression, hair loss, infertility, mood swings, etc.
Basically, I think we will have to wait another 6 months to see how quickly women's bodies are going back to normal.
But can you use your vaccine super powers to abort someone's baby just by being next to them?! Or cause young kids to have an irregular period?!
