A ton of brass are declining to REPORT having got the vaccine because then top leadership would make them come back into the office for 40 hrs a week. Which they are trying to avoid for as long as possible.

I also had Pfizer, and it happened with me about 18 hours later. Woke up feeling like someone had laid into my arm with a baseball bat. I had other side effects also, but I also had COVID last year and I've read anecdotal links of stronger side effects in people that had COVID/antibodies. Haven't read anything peer-reviewed about that, but it definitely put me on my ass after both of my shots.

A) it's marines, they're not the brightest bunch.

B) it's still a pretty high number, I'd wager at my unit probably a 3rd wouldn't take the pfizer vaccine when they made it available in early January. Some of those have started getting it now because the ones who did take didn't turn autistic or whatever the fuck the concern was. We were still working a full schedule for months pre vaccine, just with a massive amount of safety precautions and personal travel restrictions.

the small handful of military guys i know dont care to get it because they consider themselves young and healthy and don't give a fuck if they get it

i too dont care to get it but do not consider myself young nor healthy, merely lazy.

edit: actually now that i think about it every single gym going person i talk to doesn't care to get it or flat out refuses to get it barring AG and my other friend who is a pharmacist.

Well my own anecdotal note is I had literally nothing as far as side effects and have had covid twice in the past year, last time being this past Feb. Then again I had the J&J and not Pfizer one, but ive also heard people say the J&J is the roughest of them all in terms of side effects *shrug*

How many of those gym going people you talk to are fine with injecting roids in their body?

Lol or tren or fucking anything else they don't even know the source of and buy from some random place in the internet or from a shady fucking spot in Mexico. I'll take my medically prescribed steroids thank you very much. Hooray TRT

I had nothing besides sore arm from both pfizer shots.

My friend got J&J this weekend and said he felt like he had the flu. Side effects are just all over the place.

I posted county level stats a week ago. Some schools have been open months. We're at pandemic level lows right now.

Yep. Had zero side effects from Moderna shot #1 other than my arm being absurdly sore.

Got shot #2 yesterday and the thread title became very appropriate. Started puking about an hour ago with a mild fever.
