I will probably not be getting my daughter the Covid shot for at least a year even if approved. (She's 9, and it's getting there bit by bit.)

I have seen two reports now of women who claim their menstrual cycles have been messed up for 3 cycles. (Keep in mind most women haven't had the shot long enough for 3 cycles.) I'm on my second and it's still fucked up.

Right now there's a whole lot of "don't worry, still get the shot, but we don't know how long this will last, but we THINK it's ok, but we don't have the data yet" going on and I want them to actually have a real study of long term effects before I fuck my daughter up for her future if she decides to have kids someday.

To be fair, my wife is worrying about if its a hormonal issue it creates, then that could fuck with breast feeding. It's on her list of stuff to discuss with the Gyno in the 3rd Trimester

There's no evidence they don't spread it just as much as anyone else. If we want super low case numbers we have to vaccinate kids, period.

If I had kids and the vaccine presented with known risks or even major uncertainty then they wouldn't get it. But if it gets approved then that means that's not true in the first place. You really think the FDA is approving a vaccine that's super risky in general, more over in children?

If there's a vaccine with no notable health risks that prevents the fucking sniffles I would want my kid to have it. Why would I deny my child the opportunity to not get an illness if I could?
