I mentioned this earlier but they are predicting hundreds of thousands of vaccinated women will probably get swollen nodes leading to false positives about breast cancer:

Doctors are recommending women get their mammograms before getting vaxxed or wait 8 weeks after the vaccine to prevent false positives.

I know there are only like 3 other women who post on bg, but that’s a high number and you may want to spread the word to female family and friends to not panic if they get them.

Really wish my state of Illinois had its act together. According to their website, nearest place to get vaccinated was 20 miles away. My mom mentioned Walgreen's was doing open appointments. Had my choice of the one 1.5 miles away or the one 2 miles away. Wonder how many other people are relying on the state site, unaware that there are many more options available.

They already do this at Yankee stadium requiring proof of vaccination or proof of a negative test within six hours before they can let you in to see the games. The whole process was pretty smooth and even if you're too lazy to get a rapid test the morning of they had stations set up right next to the gates.

Granted this may be a bigger pain in the ass in small market areas.

I wouldnt be surprised if this winds up being a hot commodity on the black market.

Vegas is planning to have capacity crowds beginning June 1st, with Nevada purging all covid protocols it seems. Sounds like a brilliant idea! (sarcasm). But then again, I havent heard of any major covid outbreaks post-WM, short of that one guy who said he popped hot after and recommended people get tested. Even looking at the covid case chart for Florida, there wasnt really any spike post-WM.

I went to a soccer game at Gillette this weekend and we had no proof needed. But it was open air and 12% capacity so probably different for more indoor crowd events

No one is gonna take the step to push a rigorous system of vaccine record keeping when the virus is gonna become the next flu once vaccine production truly kicks in and more of the population has a baseline level of antibodies at anytime. Hopefully mask usage, especially when you're the sick one, becomes a little more common in America and that alone almost eliminates the common cold and influenza, maybe even tonsillitis God willing. One can dream...
