If their antibodies are high enough and they're not symptomatic, not shedding the virus, and not experiencing long term effects, then who the fuck cares? It's not ideal, but life is suffering so now you have protection against covid incase you encounter it in the wild. The others have masks, social distancing, and plenty of apps to order food on until they have passed whatever arbitrary risk threshold for rejoining society more normally.

Went to a funeral this weekend for hubby’s grandma. Tons of family were there.

Got a call today that one of his aunts just tested positive for Covid. She wasn’t vaxxed and family rumor mill claims she wasn’t planning on getting vaxxed.

Now hubby and kids gotta go get tested. Ugh.

Funny part is we stayed for the wake and only live streamed the funeral because hubby was scheduled to get the second shot on the day of the funeral. His brother kept trying to convince him to stay and get the second dose later. Now said brother is pissed because his son has asthma and, obviously, isn’t vaxxed yet and was there the whole time.

I had a similar situation where my roommate went out for an hour outdoors with a friend who ended up giving him COVID. I never caught it the entire two weeks we locked down in our apartment, and I was only days after my first shot. He was also asymptomatic the whole time, but best play it safe.

2nd dose of Pfizer this morning. Fingers crossed I don’t have a bad reaction. On the first shot I felt fine the day of but the next day I felt like ass.
