Idk, I see zero problems with saying well donate this much to NATO asap, and you other guys will get astrozenica once the ships come back. Not saying you ignore them, but you can't instantly flood the world with vaccines anyways, so you're already deciding where and how to deploy your resources so why not expect the government to do it in a way that furthers national interests?

Not only that, but I'm pretty sure "our" versions of the vaccine are far more effective than the Chinese version. Even more reason to put a premium on them and give them to allies first, and incentise other nations to join the fold. China released the virus, and our medicine protects you better than theirs.

India was a great example. They need vaccines, and they need them now. Get them to be nicer with us with an airdrop of JnJ and astrozenica. Done and done, with the bonus of actually saving millions of lives overall like, nearly immediately. Tell me of a place that needs vaccines more than them.
