Yeah, I thought it's great so far having seen about half the episodes. I've kind of had fading interest in these yearly Flanagan anthology series, but this source piqued my interest.

I didn't realize it was going to be based on that many Poe pieces since I knew nothing before starting except part of the cast list. I didn't see the episode titles or even think about the character names at first til it clicked in the 2nd episode when planning the party. Clever way to rope in a lot of stuff that I liked.

I honestly do not have a lot of knowledge on the source materials, just the popular ones, but the show is brilliantly shot and directed and Carla Gugino killed it in some of her scenes. amazing acting, she did this tonal shift in her voice during a specific scene that honestly was award winning.

My 16 year old loves campy horror. He heard of a movie from the 80's called "Brain Damage". Unsure if streaming, but it was marvelously stupid. There was a scene where a little worm monster popped out of a guy's zipper and attacked a woman through her mouth, giving the appearance of a blowjob...so that was awkward. Otherwise, great 80's dumb horror.

Anyway, other streaming shit. Planet Earth 3 released their first episode. It was very good and very sad, though BBC is catching some shit about overstating some of the claims of population devastation.

Totally Killer on Amazon was very good.

Bottoms is excellent. Loved that movie. Marshawn Lynch turns everything he touches to gold. Well except that one season of Westworld that no one could fix. Any comedy he touches turns to gold...

Welcome to Wrexham is one of the best shows on TV. I think I'm 6 episodes into season 2 and they've had maybe 1 episodes that centered on the men's soccer team and games. The episode about autism and how they've built a "quiet zone" in the stadium was incredible.

For All Mankind started back. First episode was very good and it becomes quickly apparent where this season is going.

The guy that took the Mars mining job that's going through a divorce after falling victim to MLM schemes is 100% going to sacrifice himself for his wife and kid to get a cut of a trillion dollar asteroid, setting them up generationally, and it's going to be devastating when it happens

Invincible is just as great as season 1.

Going to watch Killer tonight. Also, FWIW, blu ray rips of Oppenheimer can be snatched from sea to shining sea.
