You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?

May not be your jam, but with Valentine’s Day just around the corner:

Glass Heart is a very well done J-Drama. It made me an instant Satoh fan. Looking into the behind the scenes of this and it’s pretty cool. They didn’t use body doubles and all the band players did intensive music training for it to make their playing look as realistic as possible. Plot-wise it is very standard J-Drama stuff but it’s still worth it for the acting, visuals, and sound:

If curious, this goes into the behind the scenes, but if you haven’t seen the show I would only watch the first maybe 10 minutes, as they even touch on the last episode:

Just watched One Battle After Another on HBO is it was pretty "meh". Saw a ton of hype about it so went in and first 1/3rd of movie was just boring and satire and the rest was ranging from ok to yawn. A lot of really good shots for cinematography too but even then you'd get a really cool shot (cars driving down highway with hills) and then it would repeat the same shot...again...and again...and again and I was like "I fucking get it!". Felt like the movie was too afraid to speak it's mind fully and everyone were characterizations but not enough to make it as entertaining as say "Don't look up" or "Idiocracy"

S3 will be the last, which was the plan from the beginning apparently

In a stunning twist, Netflix is declining to raise its bid for Warner Bros., positioning David Ellison’s Paramount as the winner in the battle for the fabled studio.

Netflix co-CEOs Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters released a statement Thursday outlining their decision, namely that the deal is “no longer financially attractive” and that it “was always a ‘nice to have’ at the right price, not a ‘must have’ at any price.”

“The transaction we negotiated would have created shareholder value with a clear path to regulatory approval. However, we’ve always been disciplined, and at the price required to match Paramount Skydance’s latest offer, the deal is no longer financially attractive, so we are declining to match the Paramount Skydance bid,” the co-CEOs said.

IMO this is the craziest part:

Paramount has also agreed to pay the $2.8 billion termination fee that Warner Bros. would be required to pay to Netflix to terminate the existing merger agreement.

So, will they be changing their company name to "The Ministry of Truth", or will they just let that part be implied ?

Paramount has announced their intent to produce TV shows and films using AI. It's their way of handling all of the new IP's that they will have access to. HBOM will be merged into Paramount+. DC's creative team will be left intact.

Just in time for my first month of an HBO subscription. Guess I'll finish watching my current shows and ditch the account before the end of the month.

It will still take a good amount of time for a deal like this to finalize and then more time for the merging to actually take place.
