Random streaming service question if anyone happens to know, every year for Christmas I get Amazon Prime for my folks, as much as I don't like supporting Amazon, my mom orders a lot and they watch shows on there at night and really appreciate it. Have had a britbox sub on there too because they love the old British murder shows and classic Doctor Who, etc. Once the new season of Strange New Worlds had aired I was going to sub to just Paramount+ for them, not thru Amazon, but as a prime day related deal they offered it as an add on sub for 99 cents for 2 months so I did that. (Also same deal for MGM which I did to show them Project Hail Mary, lol) With Star Trek, which is only on Paramount, there were no ads other than a trailer at the start for another Paramount show . Afterwards they put on an episode of Criminal Minds, which was riddled with commercials. I noticed when I went and looked at it CM said available with Prime and with Paramount. Prime video stuff has ads because I'm not paying extra for that, they're in their it's and used to commercials, but Paramount stuff, like ST, is supposed to be ad free. Anyone know if there is any way to get it to acknowledge that for Criminal Minds or are they SOL since its on both services?

And on the content side of things, is there anything on MGM or Paramount I should watch while I have them (to save hard drive space lol). MGMwise I watch From already.

“Conan the Barbarian” is coming to Prime Video via a new animated series from animation legend Genndy Tartakovsky and Cartoon Network Studios.

Tartakovsky first pitched an animated version of the character, created by Robert E. Howard in 1932, in 2008. Various networks and streamers were interested in the project, but now it has a firm home with Prime Video. It just entered development, so it will be a while before we see anything from the series. In a pre-taped video message that played at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Tartakovsky joked that maybe he’d be able to share some animatics next year and some rough animation the year after that.

Netflix is developing a live-action series based on the “Persona” video game franchise, Variety has learned from sources.

Christopher Monfette is attached to write the adaptation in addition to serving as executive producer and showrunner. Shawn Levy and Robert Atwood of 21 Laps will also executive produce along with Dmitri M. Johnson, Michael Lawrence Goldberg, and Timothy I. Stevenson via Story Kitchen. Toru Nakahara of SEGA will executive produce as well. 21 Laps is currently under an overall TV deal with Netflix.
