I was hoping the graphics wouldn't be....just more of that same look every anime game in UE5 is using, with realistic materials on heavily stylized characters. We have all this compute power now and no one is doing cool shit with it on the aesthetic end.
This whole thing feels like a VS-XIII -> XV, except keeping the same number. I'm curious how much of anything they were able to use from the first dev take on XII besides character/enemy models.
And another year of me being blue-balled with no announcement of either of the DQX getting an official localization.
