There's so many little things. Maybe I should make a list and send in a bug report.

Base building is so much of this game but it's obviously the buggiest bit. From things not snapping where they should, to Pals clipping out of completely enclosed bases and starving lol. The most annoying one is Pals randomly disappearing after the 12th one you add to the base. I keep having to remove and re-add them. I'm assuming dedicated server bugs are way more plentiful, which is what we're all playing on.

Well, a lot of the issues can be resolved/mitigated by turning structure decay off, and making bases large enough so the pal activity happens well within whatever walls you've built. You'll likely never completely eliminate pathing issues, so try not to build places too narrow or complicated if you want your palls to not get stuck. Keeping the pals within the blue space and not putting walls close to the border helps.

Structure Deterioration Rate, but you may only be able to set it for your private worlds or self-hosted servers.

Bread my first Anubis, and the fucker goes right to the stone mason..... That pretty much means Loupmoon is your best dedicated handiworker, and they can be found at night all over north of the starting zone, around the first tower. They really do need to fix the priority and make the mason/lumber lowest priority. Ignoring every other node on the base but those doesn't make a lot of sense.

I regret not investing points into HP at the start, really bit me in the ass and just now fixing it in the mid 20's. Also didn't choose a very good location for my first base and spent most of the day building my 2nd one at one of the recommended mining spots. I was very tempted to restart, but then I got an Jormuntide Ignis from an egg and decided to power through the levels, it utterly wrecks these smelting tasks with a level 4 bonus and nothing else to distract it.

Just read a real pro tip and confirmed it works: To keep your pals from putting decayed food items into the pal feeding box, put a single honey pot in all but two slots; one for regular berries and one for baked berries. If you've built a fridge, this should force them to put all food items in there. Keep it cooled, and only the most basic items will decay. Cotton candy also works but as long as it's food and can't decay it will work.

So, stacking accessories is a thing. Three Giga shields for a massive defensive barrier as that seems best. Armor also stacks, but not the heat/cold resistance.

It's a bit hard to see under the stat but there's a normal metal armor equipped to the glider. To do this, just drag an item in the slot and switch it with whatever you want to equip and it. For example, if you want to replace the glider, click and drag the glider onto a shield or armor and it will swap in; the reverse doesn't work.

Oddly enough, you can still glide without a glider equipped, even if it isn't in your inventory. You'll do a T pose the entire time and it still uses stamina, so it kinda looks like you're flying through the air.

They can't normally, have to glitch them there

As far as I've seen the gliding pal is better than the actual gliders. That said I can't say I've actually used gliding all that much after unlocking a flying saddle

If it's faster, it's not by much, and it's more like a levitation as you have far more control over it than normal/pal gliding. You can turn on a dime and such without losing speed.

East of verdant brook fast travel point there’s a volcanic area, I go there to murder Rooby and Foxsparks, I also murder Wixen there to try to farm Technical Manuals for Technology points.

I prefer to buy from merchants then run around and swat low level pals. If only Pal fluid could be bought...
