Well this is certainly something. Regardless of if you know who ActMan is or how you feel about it, this is some Adpocalypse tier drama for Youtube corruption and incompetence. I'll try to give a very brief rundown of the timeline of events that led up to this.

QuantumTV made an Elden Ring review so bad that it of course got attention. A Small youtuber named Mischief(At the time, ~6k?) made a video criticizing the bad review, nothing egregious, just what you'd expect. QTV Then threatened to copyright strike his video if he didnt take it down (QTV has a history of doing this). He did for a time, but eventually a big Youtuber, TheActMan, found the story and added the bad review into one of his videos labeled "The Worst Elden Ring hot takes" or some such. Well, QTV also filed a false copyright strike against him, and also sent him multiple messages, and made his own videos on the subject matter, attempting to bully TheActMan into taking his shit down.

Sometime after TheActMans first video, people started to discover QuantumTV has a huge history of being a bigot. Some of his best tweets are wishing two girls(lesbians) were victim of the Pulse Nightclub shooting, then doubling down when called out and saying "Yes I wish they had died, the world is better off without them". Others include calling a celebrity daughter a "Half-breed" because she had a Black dad/White mom, and these are just some of the many bigoted shit he's spewed. A cherry on top is his channel is currently Ban-Evading on Youtube because his old one was deleted for, you guessed it, hate speech. A few other Youtubers picked up on this and began doing videos going through his twitter history, at which point he deleted them all and released a video claiming briefly he was hacked and thats why all that stuff is there, Even though these tweets were years old at this point and he was still linking his Social Media to his videos every upload, and also a history of him on his discord clearly being a bigot too, and oh, the last couple videos he made on the situation.

THEN said QuantumTV doxxes TheActMan and CALLS HIS MOTHER and posts a video about it (Which is still monetized btw if you're keeping score here) in which he tells her "We wouldn't want families to get hurt over this" to paraphrase. A thinly veiled threat if you've ever heard one. TheActMan is rightfully upset about this, and soon thereafter makes a video covering all of this, the bigotry, the doxxing, the ban-evading, etc, and submits this stuff to Youtube because QTV is bad for Youtube as a whole.

Couple weeks pass, Youtube gets back and says "Nah, QuantumTV isn't getting banned or striked or anything", they reviewed his channel and found it A-Okay. So, TheActMan releases another video sometime there-after, bringing forth even more information and evidence, disproving QTV's defenses, and calling out Youtube for platforming and siding with QTV when its clearly provable that the man is breaking the YouTube TOS, multiple violations even, and in general is just a piece of sh*t.

And here's the end result. They FULLY demonetized his entire account without so much as a Warning or Strike against him. QuantumTV is still active, the video of him doxxing ActMans mom and threatening her is still monetized, the videos of him making hateful and bigoted takes still monetized, and Youtube has completely Un-Partnered the ActMan and is actively silencing videos who cover the topic(Some auto-Detection surely based on key phrases, as multiple creators have mentioned being demonetized or having videos taken down when covering this):

TL:DR Youtube siding with and platforming an Anti-LGBTQ+, Doxxing, Mom-Threatining bigot during Pride Month and deleting/delisting videos of people covering it.

Also a recent update -> He was demonetized for this satirical jab at Youtubes decision to keep QuantumTV as a partner.

So YouTube will clearly act on their TOS, when someone makes a joke about how bad they are at acting on their TOS, but won’t ban the guy who actually broke the tos, doxxed someone, and called their mother to threaten them over a YouTube video.

Like fairs fair if they want to ban him for this that’s their right, but at least enforce your damn TOS evenly, as I said the video of quantum actually doxxing and calling ActMans mom is still up and fully monetized.

YouTube must be prepping to launch their new circus adventures and are showing everyone what great clowns they are.
