Dang, I was close in my theory crafting. I always assumed it was tied to the time he filmed in the public bathroom at Twitchcon, I assumed a minor was in there and Twitch shitcanned him for that. Almost.

Man fuck me “no wrong doings we’re acknowledged and I still got paid” just sounds like “it’s 100% true so I’m taking this time to also paint twitch as complicit in pedophilia by not acting on it”.

I know we have very little to go on right now, but like, that response alone is almost worse than the original accusations lol.

"No wrongdoing was acknowledged" also just sounds like some kind of carefully worded legalese, I wouldn't be surprised if this was common corporate speak for when it 100% happened but its all behind closed doors to save face.

Yeah, think it was with Twitch, though he was popping off last week saying he was found to do nothing wrong and supposedly Twitch paid out his entire contract.

I imagine its because he probably made tweets at some point saying Disrespect was innocent or something like that and people were using the contradiction as evidence the allegation was false

It wouldn't have been kept hush for a year if it was I figure, as the police would get involved no? Instead we got lawyers involved and everything kept quiet between whatever caused Twitch to break contract with the guy. Don't know the situations with his contract as to whether Twitch was required to pay him the remainder of it or not, or if that was Twitch trying to save face after more details came to light.

My brother and I just had the same talk lol. only guess is the texts weren't explicit enough for a criminal conviction or court case, but were enough for Twitch to not want to consort with him. But I don't know how the legal system works, I assume if sending innuendo to a kid was a slam dunk court case there'd be a lot less Youtubers out there.

That makes sense, its kinda what I was getting out of it, but It was as Proth said, written like a damn riddle.

My take on the whole thing seems like "He's not afraid of being sued cause he'll back it up if he needs too". Or that he's confident he wont be brought to that situation cause Doc knows he'd lose and therefor never try.
