It's used by some trainers, and for large dogs it's not that painful but I don't think it was a shock collar anyways. The dog was professionally trained and most aren't going to use a shock collar for training beyond maybe the first week. People who use a shock collar are the same types who would use a prong collar. Given all of the people who know the dog, including people like Maya who's a huge animal rights person who's been on his stream countless times I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Tons of vibration collars out there that look like similar and also who fucking cares really. You have fucking rapists trying to create drama over this shit which is hilarious.

I'll never really understand the hate on Hasan anyways, bunch of people just pissy that he's "socialist but has money". Dude provides a home for his family, pays his workers a shit ton, uses US manufacturing for any of his swag he sells and when he did have to run ads on Twitch would only run the bare minimum after his original agreement of no-ads didn't work during renewals. He has stupid takes on a lot of stuff but far as I have seen he's actively practicing what he preaches and given the huge amount of hate from Destiny trolls and others you'd think SOMETHING would have come out by now about him other then a fake "shock collar" controversy lol.

I'm all for throwing hands on animal abusers, but when one side is trying to argue he physically altered the device and covered it with tape when he had zero reason to even humor the accusations while the other has found various vibration collar models of similar make, you kinda have to stop and consider the motivations behind those trying to make a big stink about it.

Having three 50+ pound dogs, myself, sometimes they just yelp. Maybe they scratch their wrong. Maybe one steps on the other walking through the room. Maybe their nail catches in the carpet. I don't always see it happen in the moment, but of my three, one is also a pretty big drama queen and will overact to get their way with something.

What you really want to ask in your gotcha attempt is if there are times I want them to be in specific places even if they'd rather be elsewhere, and the answer is yes. Whether it's him streaming or I'm eating dinner and don't want them mooching from the plate, the result is the same. If you want to engage in a crusade that punishes all streamers for highlighting pets, then by all means, go waste your time.

Lol it's not having the dog as a prop wanting it to be around you. I keep my corgi around me while working, she naps nearby me and I keep an eye on her to make sure she's not getting into anything...also she's a dog and loves being around me. Dude mentioned dog gets puppy play time every morning and can stroll around freely when not on the air

Its super /not/ normal to Zap Train, or if we're giving benefit of the doubt here, "Vibrate Train"/Punish your dog if he walks off camera while you're streaming. Theres a mountain of difference between "The dog enjoys being around you and you like being around it" and "While I'm on stream it has to stay in frame or its gets punished". Like how did you fully write out "He said the dog is free to roam when hes not streaming!" without realizing how psychotic that sounds?

Like step back for a moment, dudes just another out of touch rich streamer with a content-rotted brain making a decision he thinks is going to generate the most clicks or revenue. I brought this up before but pet cams are a huge part of the streamer meta right now. It's certainly weird to force your dog to stay in the spot while you stream all day.

I will say I strangely feel comforted seeing these people be as irrational as people right of center are in regards to the current political environment. They're just being human and maybe they can learn from it one day if they can be reasonable in other facets of their life.
