Oz got his start by trading on his experience as a legit heart doctor, but quickly realized that he could make more and more money by telling his audience what they wanted to hear and then packaging and selling it to them. He was being rewarded for his bad behavior by a system that rewarded bad behavior. This phenomena is now orders of magnitude worse. If you are watching influencer bullshit you’re just getting in on the ground floor of every dipshit online that dreams of being the next Oz, such as it exists today. They all want to grow their audience and make more money, and the system rewards anything that drives engagement. Why else would this super-respected psychiatrist Dr J or whatever be even remotely concerned about whatever the dog shocker is up to? Last I checked that wasn’t really a psychiatrist’s remit.

Dr Oz is 100% credible as a heart surgeon which he is amazingly good at and that was his specialty before he realized he could make bank grifting like crazy instead, listen to the behind the bastards on him, dude was astounding for anything heart related. Dr K is credible as a psychiatrist because that's his profession as well.

Also Dr Oz's credibility was very tainted over all that he did, while I would still take into consideration any recommendations he had from the past for heart health I would take any recent recommendations about heart health with the tinge of "let me fact check this with other doctors". Has Dr. K destroyed his credibility in some way beyond "I don't agree with him"? Has he been grifting sleep aid diet pills or something else to his base of support and using his knowledge of psychiatry for nefarious purposes? Because I have only ever seen him talking to streamers via interviews or commenting on male and female issues and internet culture but please enlighten me.

I can't speak for the other guy, but I want to say personally speaking, I don't hate Hasan, I have no strong feelings towards him before this and the only feelings I have now are "He shocks his pet, and thats a negative in my eyes". The only thing I know about this dude is the occasional glimpse into him from past articles and news, some good, some bad, most if not all forgotten with time. I don't need a 3hour video from a Youtube Psychologist to tell me how I should feel about a guy shocking his dog to keep her in a Stream box, I can draw those conclusions myself, and I have. I think its bad, I think hes bad for doing it.

But still, I wouldn't dismiss their position as simply "hate" as if they just have some preexisting bias toward Hasan coloring their opinion, maybe they do, but that call is also coming from inside the house. Like, Had it been Asmongold, Andrew Tate or Joe Rogan who was caught doing this to his dog, you would not be sitting here quoting Feature Length Youtube Movies from a Psychologist on why its actually ok. Theres enough bias to toss around here.

Errr, when you have enough information out there about people they don't really need to be your patient for you to pick up on patterns. See: Trump.

But either way, we see people in the hospital all the time that aren't our patients and we analyze them. Doesn't mean we diagnose them, but sometimes we do.

Only a shitty psychiatrist would finalize a diagnosis without knowing their patient better and even then that can change.

Clearly states in the video he doesn't know Hasan and so is reserving judgement as he doesn't know enough information, basing what he's talking about more in general terms just about how the internet functions and how "us vs them" tribalism happens along with other things...which you'd know if you watched the video for roughly 20mins after he starts talking about.

Also the entire basis behind gamer gate. To reiterate too, the tail pulling stuff is damning and I would want to hear from Hasan on it but it was also from 2019? So 6yrs ago now, and so if it did happen and he apologizes for it then great (though wouldn't matter to 99% of the people wanting to destroy him and wouldn't matter to 99% of his base that are die hard ride or die for everything he does) Doesn't mean he has a clear pattern or proves anything else either. Is it reason to suspect? Sure, is it factual proof? no.

I would say that yes I was biased towards Andrew Tate based off everything he says and does when it came out he was suspected of trafficking women...and especially because he had multiple posts bragging about that shit lol. As for the other two, I used to think Asmon was a good dude off camera and his dad I think was part of that and a very cool guy by anything I could see (sucks that he lost him) but I think all 3 are just grifting like crazy. Maybe Hasan is too, but it is definitely far far easier to make bank grifting to the right. Hasan could literally 180 tomorrow into GoP full embrace and make a killing as to "finally seeing the light" or fence sit on shit.

Also the entire youtube video does not say "it was ok". It doesn't condemn or defend Hasan. It's more of a video of "holy shit people, try talking to each other and thinking objectively instead of digging a trench immediately to bunker down and fire from"
