I'm pretty sure half the time I did the huddle it was by accident because I was using elemental ammo and wanted to activate one of my teammates abilities

I know it's Black Friday, but I feel like it must not have reached SE's unrealistic sales goals or something. I almost bought it from the xbox store for 40 but then saw this deal (and it's digital, delivered in minutes)
I finished today. It was a much longer game than I thought it would be. I loved it. I really do hope they get to make another one, with some of the other Guardians next time.
The combat by the end does get a bit stale, they could have given Star Guy some additional combos/mechanics etc. to keep it fresh.
I have to admit, like many people, when this game was first revealed months back, I rolled my eyes and basically said "They already ruined Avengers, now they want to ruin Guardians too" but my expectations were far exceeded.
I managed to stay in the dark about everything in this game so seeingSpoiler: show
They nailed the humor, the soundtrack, the story and the characters. Mechanics needed a bit more work, but solid recommend to anyone.
I just picked this on a Black Friday sale but I’m not gonna play it for a while because I don’t want to get started on a new game right before Endwalker drops. Glad to hear it’s gotten mostly positive reviews.
It's not super long, I finished it at 17 hours, could probably tack on another 2 or so hours if I cared to 100% it (which I did not)
Any of you got a physical version you don't want anymore cause I'm sure this game has shit replay value? Even at $30 I'm still hesitant to buy this lol

Does it have to have replay value to be worth it? I think it was amazingly done and worth the full price. I must be just old and remember when I could jut play a game and move on. In fact gaming scene now is tough, every game needs so much time investment that its getting harder and harder to choose which to buy etc. good example ..February =/
When your backlog is what it is, know it's likely they won't make a sequel, then why rush to get it even at a 50% discount? I'd entertain an Andrew Jackson for it, and that's it tbh.

If it’s just going into your backlog you might as well wait, it’s an SE Eidos game so it’s probably gonna be sub $20 in a year or less like Avengers and all the Tomb Raider games.
Waaaaahhh games are too short give me more bigger longer games,.. waaahhhh games are taking way too much time now I cant play them all I have a huge backlog.
Im just trolling. I think its one of the better games this year and its short, I would say just pick it up and knock it out for the experience then go back to the backlog.
although i did enjoy the writing and performances, the last boss fight was unbelievably boring (looked pretty neato though)
Yep, but from the start of the game I realized it was more about the characters and story thats what kept me going and it was great. Some of the mechanics and gameplay was just ok. At the end of a great movie when the theatre just claps cus it was great and satisfying? thats what I felt when finishing the game.
If you're gonna do 20+shipping you might as well just get it from Walmart, unless the deal ended (or you just really want physical.) It's 25 for xbox digital.
I bought it on PS5. The adaptive is used a little bit, but nothing noteworthy. In performance mode though I think it's a solid 60FPS, Even as crazy as some of the onscreen gets (esp towards the end) I never noticed much of a dip in frame rate. ray tracing might look nice, and I still find it hard to believe PS5 can't do both 60 and ray tracing, but I'll take the 60 FPS every time.
After trying FF7R in performance I could never go back to quality. (Not that I'd ever play that game again) Much the same for this.
Started to playing yesterday. I gotta say I was taken surprise by an especially poignant scene on Knowhere
