I honestly didn't hate the leveling in 2. Just reminded me of skill ups in XI lol. I mean. It wasn't good by any means. But it wasn't bad enough to bother me

Weapon/Stats weren't bad to level. If you spent the first hour or so beating the hell out of your team you'd be good enough to roll through most of the bosses for awhile.

Magic though? Fuck. That. Noise.

Channels are getting nuked pretty hard. God, they did the battle themes so dirty. Its up to Soken in 6.0 to give these songs the treatment they deserve.

Strange that the best-sounding songs are the ones you hear once or twice in the game, while the songs you hear 300 times are piss poor.

The frame judder makes these games completely unplayable for me. I want to like them SO BAD, but my eyes literally bug the fuck out after playing for 2-3 minutes. Maybe I'm just too sensitive to it, but when you're used to 30+ years of perfectly smooth scrolling with these games on multiple platforms, I just can't even with this shaky garbage. Like, how could this have gotten through QA?

Also a bit off topic, but I can find the OST for the SNS/GBA/DS versions of FF4 but nothing for the PSP version. Weird.

Sounds like someone wanted to show off their violin skills (I think its a violin?), so they turned every other track down to 10% (or lower) and put their violin track at 190% volume. The horns and bassline were such a prominent sound in the track, and in this one they're not really noticeable.
