Yeah, its just a shame. I also wonder what they're removing from the game via censorship. Are we still going to see the soldiers beating the shit out of Celes? Stuff like that is pretty important to cement the Empire as a band of bastards.

The edits, combined with these cutesy bright sprites really try and make a relatively dark game into this flowery, fluffy thing, and it just doesn't work thematically.

Ah right i remember they did alter that scene. Didn't they also change the script a bit related to Shadow/Relm as well?
