Didnt know that. If thats the case, then its not terrible. As long as the ads are kept somewhat discreet.

While I'm still kinda against it purely from the clean aesthetic of how jerseys used to and should be, the NBA ads are simple and small enough, and if the NHL follows suit, it shouldn't be toooooo bad

From what I read, the NHL ads will be a 3"x3.5" square, so just slightly bigger than the NBA advertising patches

Same. I just know with the taste of extra revenue, you're gonna start seeing patches on thigh pads, stick blades, etc.

I hope I'm wrong, but I know if they go to far they're not gonna reign it back in once the money is already there from the new ads.
