Those three deals all expire next year. The Garland contract makes this basically a wash money wise for Arizona except now all that money comes off the books next year. This is way worse for Vancouver's Cap, just an astoudingly awful deal even though they got a really good player in Garland, because they took a bunch of contracts that were ending and would give them flexibility and commited long term to a player who is a shadow of his former self and has one of the worst contracts in the league.

It was a quote from Connor Garland basically saying that he wanted to be somewhere he was valued and that he hadn't been contacted by the yotes since 3 days after the season ended and he was still waiting for an offer. Also about how everyone knows what going in Arizona with the team (i.e they are just selling off assets)
