seems legit
Wait so would that make sense to just get the cheapest model then and replace the storage with a SSD? Or are there other upgrades
This why I waited to see everyone's experiences first lol
fwiw 2230 ssds are kind of a pain to get as a consumer

Maybe so, but $420 (lol) for a 128gb version of the same hardware as everything else is a steal.

Gabe is intending to create a whole handheld PC ecosystem with this device, and hopes other PC makers create their own Decks.
Looks like they are officially sold out until Q1 2022 (64GB) and Q2 2022 (256GB / 512GB).Originally Posted by Gaben
The battery life thing is going to be my primary concern, especially if the device has a shit sleep-mode solution that kills itself within 3-4 days like a Switch does. Following that would be general load times since it's playing full fat PC games, and not something meant for a mobile device, but NVMe should solve that if the CPU can keep up.
It almost makes me wish Valve would get into the laptop market, since specs-wise, this thing kicks the shit out of a ton of laptops in Canada in that price range (after currency conversion).

I played XI with a controller, and will continue to do so once I can get one working with the game again.
Spoiler: show
I play XIV with a controller too.
