The above is GPD 3 but there was GPD 1 and 2 which also ran it!
edit: if alienware will get off their asses, this is from Jan 2020: https://www.theverge.com/circuitbrea...witch-ces-2020

Have any reviews commented about remote play on the steam deck? That is what my primary use case will be with higher end games. I feel like it should be a no brainer that it is available, but I have not seen any review mention that as an alternative.
Scalpers already selling their pre-orders upwards of USD $1,500.
In the meanwhile, Valve's official statement about order fulfillment:

So basically the sneaker game
That switch to deck comparison tho...

I have no doubt they will be able to send all out. The wait times will increase of course depending on your place in line (ala EVGA queue) but I have no doubt they will be able to fulfill em.
I was able to get my reservation for the 512GB one 30 seconds or so after window opened and it says for mine is Q1 2022 (So from Jan to March basically).
LTT put up a new vid today where Linus was able to test it out and honestly... I think they finally fucking did it. I am cautiously optimistic. The first APU to feature RDNA2 and not Vega(GCN) coupled with a Zen2 CPU that looks to be a 3300X (Which is fine since 720p). Thermals look good on the engineering model and will probably only improve more close to launch. And to add to that, NVME can be upgraded to 1TB DIY.
They've been updating SteamLink lately and with wifi 6, it's fantastic (I have wifi 6 on desktop and router). We have old concrete walls (our wifi struggles beyond 40 ft through all of the walls) and the connection red/yellow have ceased. I've done Hades, RE Village, and Grim Dawn all through this setup. If the PS4 is downloading, then there becomes noticeable lag, otherwise, multiple ipads streaming doesn't seem to matter much. I imagine that the SteamDeck will be fine (I want to know this the most and will update if I find anything).
Looks really big and probably too heavy for me, lots of neat features though but they aren't for everyone.
I don't think having portable steam wouldn't change my unplayed library. I have a shield tv, I can stream anything on my PC or steam to my tv and play with a controller already. I have a 3070 laptop and a great desktop, still none of these have gotten me to even play more than an hour of Witcher 3.
Even the switch I played a ton of Zelda then stopped and a ton of hades and stopped, now nothing. All I really play is TBC Wow and in and out of FF14.
Looks like it'll be a nice toy/device A bunch of people though.
I'm still not sold on the placement of the buttons but also I already paid for mine so I better figure it out I guess.
Delayed to February.
