Of all the Royal Rumble shows I've ever seen, that was certainly one of them.

I feel like Kofi botching his annual rumble spot perfectly encapsulates my feelings towards the PPV.

The complete lack of a single NXT wrestler in either rumble says a lot about the state of NXT right now.

And needing to fill out half of the women's rumble with wrestlers not currently on the active roster cause you've fired so many people is just woo buddy.

Considering Ronda being there was heavily rumored, that made the women's rumble super predictable, and the second Brock lost earlier in the night that made the men's rumble super predictable as well.

I do appreciate WWE reminding me why I don't watch their product though, I'll always watch the Rumble but man that sucked.

I've seen worse Rumbles in terms of overall performance but man, those were two super mediocre showings. 2 star C-minus Rumbles, though the women's was slightly better than the men's.

Ending of the Universal title match really set the tone for the entire show.

Fuck man, that Roman Seth match had good storytelling until they set the bar for stupid finishes. I cannot wait for the possibility of AEW completely trouncing WWE only because AEW actually finishes their matches and aren’t scared about the fan backlash or the protection of their wrestlers. (To a point)

Probably the worst rumble I've seen since that one where batista won instead of DB.

2015 is probably the worst rumble (at least in terms of the finish, the crowd booed the Rock for gods sake and so many people tried to cancel the WWE Network afterwards that the website crashed), but this was up there.

Both matches were just horribly laid out, for the men's rumble it seems they only put effort into orchestrating the celebrity spots, the rest just felt like a random clusterfuck.

Even the camera cuts were more terrible than usual. There were a bunch of eliminations we had no clue about unless the commentators specifically told us.

Like that one dude who plays the guitar for Shinsuke. They made such a huge deal of him bench pressing Rey with one arm, but then cuts away from it when he actually tosses him over lol.

Roman/Seth was match of the night and really good story. Everything else was garbage. Ronda again. Fuck her, man. Roman and Brock AGAIN. For fuck’s sake. So many geeks in the Rumble with only a handful of legit stars. I love the Rumble event out of nostalgia sake but this just reinforces why this is the only major WWE show I watch anymore.

I would like to see Brock vs Lashley without the lingering ghost of Roman Reigns.

Why even bother giving the win to Lesnar? Roman costing him was enough to get their feud restarted. The person going for WWE championship at WM should've won the rumble.
