Can't believe Mercedes got cut, she's an incredible talent. Bobby Fish I have an easier time buying, he's great but also injury-prone.

I think more people were shocked about fish as everyone assumed he was going to be transitioning into a coach/trainer role.

Bronson is the one that shocked me since he was just the NA Champion. I figured he was dropping it because he was going to the main roster.
Now I'm wondering if Kross is about to be cut once he loses the belt to Joe. This is crazy.
I think a few of the released could do well in AEW, but I think Mercedes is the main one I would want to see them sign. The men's division is already stacked, but the women still need a bit more and she would fit in great there with current talent.
Edit:
Came across this tweet which confused me. I kept trying to figure out why Fred Durst was tagged. Did some digging and found out he changed his look recently.

What the fuck did I wake up to
Part of me is wondering if all this NXT restructuring business is the shoe finally dropping for them losing the Wednesday Night War. And on a related note, what USA thinks of all this.
Yep, Bronson the only one that surprised me out of that batch in terms of actual performers. Sure, there was potential for certain individuals in trainer roles, and maybe there will be at some point and this is restructuring contracts or whatever.
and lol @ that last part. They performed at Lolla last weekend and it was a "wait, which one is Fred Durst?" moment when I saw pictures.
it's a whole thread, but this post basically sums up where NXT is going

Cause that worked out so well for them lol
Sure HHH isn’t too happy about that
Sorry, but this one made me laugh:
"Dave notes there will always be exceptions to the rule, like how WWE still wants to keep Adam Cole, who is in fact not tall."
Reminds me of when Russo wanted to get rid of everyone over 40 in WCW lol.
no words
Bray was fired so this could live.
Cole/O'Reilly 2 out of 3 falls - Each get a choice, when it goes to 3rd, it's Regal's choice
1st - Pinfall or Submission (I'm not sure if Kyle or SANADA is the lamest wrestler out there)
2nd - Street fight
3rd - Steel Cage
As someone who didn't like that 2 out of 3 main event that some people creamed themselves over a couple years ago.... Cole/Gargano(?) I'm absolutely DREADING this match now.
My gripe with the 2 out of 3 between Cole and Gargano was all the run ins. Remove that and it was easily a 4.5 star match for me.
