It would not surprise me at all by the end of the week to see people on reddit bitching that probably half or more of the matches are just going to be immediately recycled on TV to keep the feud going for another rematch at the next PPV.

Summerslam and Wrestlemania used to be the big storyline blowoffs and now they're just another cog in the wheel for never-ending storylines/feuds to try to keep people subscribed to the Network/Peacock

I mean at the very least... obviously AJ/Omos, Bianca, Nikki and Sheamus need immediate rematches, Lashley and Goldberg are clearly not done despite Goldberg just losing a match due to old, they'll probably keep the Mysterios/Usos, Edge/Rollins and Drew/Jinder stories going because they likely can't think of anything better for those guys to do.

Meltz is saying WWE is trying to build up Brock vs Roman for Wrestlemania...in 2023.

Granted it is WWE, so the match will probably happen before Survivor Series.

I think what he was saying there is that had been the plan, but WWE pulled the trigger on Brock and Becky right now for whatever reasons (Saudi money, whatever is going on with Sasha, reacting to Punk)

Related, apparently WWE has known Sasha was out over a week ago, and that was the best they could come up with, jeez
