Yep, pretty much. The KO program was kind of rough because they booked 3 straight big gimmick matches in a row with the same shenanigans. It was only a span of 2 ppvs, but it felt like it went way more time than that. At least by the end/in the aftermath they finally were like "dude's built like a monster. Let him be one."

So this Rampage gave 30 seconds to a Thunder Rosa/Nyla Rose/Jade Cargill promo and then this Anna Jay match which ended with the focus completely on the Dark Order business.

By comparison, Smackdown opened with Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair, later had Naomi and Sonya, plus two matches with Nikki vs. Natalya and Liv Morgan vs. Zelina Vega.

AEW has a lot of women on the roster to be paying so little attention to anyone who isn't Britt Baker.

In fairness, there have been some down weeks (and I'm not talking about cutting that tag match from the MSG show) but the Naomi/Sonya stuff is the real surprising thing to me. It's two people that I'm not really all too interested in on individual basis, but they're doing something simple and effective, and I'm actually looking forward to their match whenever it is.

Surprised there's nothing announced for Big E/Lashley yet. Is Goldberg injured and thus wondering if they want to push Lashley's title match back a month? There's 4 main titles, and I've always felt it's ok if they're not all on these minor shows, so long as it's not one repeatedly being left off like that one stretch with Asuka. They just tend to not do that, even though it might give more space for some matches to breathe or get moved to the main card.

Pretty sure it's all just part of the larger Hangman plot, just kinda killing time and giving them a storyline until he gets back from baby leave.

Everyone in Dark Order has explicitly stated multiple times that -1 is the leader and has been cracking jokes on social media about how everytime WWE cuts someone that they would clearly make a great leader for Dark Order.

And yes AEW's booking for the women is not great. I believe the only time we've seen Hikaru Shida outside of the YouTube shows since she lost to Britt was in the Battle Royale at All Out, she completely disappeared from TV after holding the title for a year.
