These are all the telltale signs of a company prepping to sell. Bring in a new exec who cleans house so he can be the bad guy and not the CEO. Then the company sells, new owner brings in their people to run things, new exec peaces out with a bad reputation and a fat pay day, former CEO rides off into the sunset.
