AEW is very much about giving fans what they want (or predictable booking if you wanna be negative about it) and there was no way this wasn't gonna be Hangman's night.

The story made sense, at the PPV named after him, and with Dynamite next week being in his home state.

Ngl, the entire theater popping off for Hangman’s title win was something incredible. Even if you go alone or with friends, i highly recommend checking out if a local theater hosts ppvs

The more I think about it, the more the screwy finish in Lucha Bros vs FTR makes sense. Their first match was a screwy finish with the belt shot to Fenix, and now you have FTR with a valid complaint that the wrong person was pinned. Let them finish the trilogy, make it title vs title, and since this feud is getting personal, let it be a falls count anywhere street fight and just let them beat the ever loving shit out of each other for 25 minutes and you got a 5* (6 in the tokyo dome) match.
