General Wrestling VII: Beyond Thunderdome

MJF vs. Darby, Punk vs. Kingston, the Street Fight, and the main event were all good/ great top to bottom.

Every other match had a weird time finding a rhythm and had extended periods where they just weren't clicking. They all came together in the end but everyone else just felt "off," like they all had something they wanted to do and ended up improvising instead until they got things back on track.

Per WON, Kenny Omega is getting a full medical evaluation on Wednesday and seems like the expectation is going to be going on hiatus for awhile to rest up the multitude of injuries he's been dealing with. He was determined to finish up his part in the Hangman storyline and with that out of way it looks like he might finally take a break.

What's even scarier is he said he's developed vertigo that will sometimes trigger while in the middle of a match, so he had to learn to wrestle essentially in a spinning ring.

As someone who battles random bouts of vertigo and is basically bed ridden when it happens, that's ridiculous that he's still able to perform, and perform safely that way.

Looking at that match and the 3 or 4 times they both apparently got dropped on their heads I would argue about how safe it was.

I adore how quickly they turned Brian heel and got the crowd to go with it.

What's fun too is with going thru the Dark Order, all of the next few Dynamites are all in various DO members home states (Colt next week, 5 the week after, John Silver for the Long Island show) so it's easy to keep the heat going with him beating the shit out of hometown wrestlers.

I just wanted to point out how great of a job AEW has done in building up their talent to the point where 2 main eventers (Mox & Omega) can take a leave of absence and it doesn't hurt the company one bit. The amount of people who feel like they would be legit main eventers is crazy after what I've been used to seeing with WWE.
