General Wrestling VII: Beyond Thunderdome

[Vagrant]

Watching ROH Final Battle. This show is weird.

Of all the places Strowman could have shown up at again ROH was probably at the very bottom of that list for me.

Jimmy Rave passed away today. 39 years old

Edit: Beat by 1 minute. I'll leave it though since it has the Twitter post about it.

[Zealot]

Damn, terrible.

Shibata has been medically cleared, will be having a match at Wrestle Kingdom.

[Melena]

According to SRS, Kevin Owens has re-signed with WWE.

[Krandor]

Really thought out of everyone these last few months that he was for sure gonna leave.

Hope he got the bag, until they inevitably cut him for budget reasons in 4 months

[Melena]

Pretty much from the rumor mill, was an offer that even AEW couldn't match. I'm pretty sure Owens is a big enough name where they just panicked and backed the Brinks truck up.

This literally means he’s gonna get future endeavored for “budget reasons” we’ve seen it happen to others

[Melena]

I'd be really curious on the contract details. I wouldn't be surprised if he got either a no cut until X amount of days or an opt out in his contract.

Isn’t he the first though to get a contract renewed since the mass firings began? Dude is definitely going to be the canary in the coal mine for others.

[Krandor]

Oh shit the title match is the opener?

[NotGreyheim]

Heard in the crowd during Dragon vs Cowboy: "HE DOESN'T RECYCLE!" lol

[Krandor]

They might actually go the full hour, jesus

[NotGreyheim]

Parallel it to Danielson/Kenny, I could see it. It'd be a pretty big rub for champ Hangman. But at the same time, idk how a time limit draw would look for a first title defense...

[Nitsuki]

Taking a fucking tombstone good lord

[Zealot]

Really looks like we're going the full 60 but I wouldn't be surprised by a win right before the bell.

Ngl, I smile every time Hangman uses the Discus Lariat.

[Zealot]

Man I don't want this to end.
