I swear the animations and movement looked more natural in the PS2/Xbox gen. The game has been bad ever since they "upgraded" for the following console generation

Last Madden I played seriously was 2007 and motherfuckas used to go hard in the barracks with tournaments, leaderboards, and everything. This was all before online play really took off.

Never really felt that same magic since.

Yeah I want to say like 09 or so we would run full seasons of Madden during deployments. Everyone would pick a team and we'd play out an entire season over a few months.

Every time we'd do it the finish would be inevitable, I think every single season the final 4 teams were always the OS and ETs (which if you know Navy/Coast Guard ratings makes a lot of sense), but was still good times.

I haven’t played it in a decade, but at a glance it doesn’t look like they’ve tried improving it since the first PS3 release.

Air department is deep into madden, although nowadays you see more people playing 2k

Hell there are features in Madden 09 EA removed that people want and they still haven't put it in. EA got complacent once they got that exclusive license.

Didn't realize TJ Watt was still holding out. Steelers are beyond stupid to not already have this wrapped up. He is one of the very few non-QBs that you just have to meet contract demands without question.

Seriously looks like Madden 06-level of animations and Madden 11-level of graphics. I remember when they stopped releasing the games on PC. Those PC versions looked as good then as this "modern" stuff. Crazy how little they've advanced. I was done after Madden 12, and haven't regretted it since.
