I'm flying into NYC tomorrow. Pray for me.
You'd want barvirus anyways. Not like it worked but we always thought it did something.

Seems very promising
Bunch of symptoms started yesterday morning. Got tested yesterday. Negative result today. Woo!
I'm assuming I had covid and didn't know it because I lost my smell and about 50% of my taste in the last few days. But tested negative twice since.
All in all, good thing I haven't gone anywhere in like 2 weeks cuz of Endwalker lol
Anybody have thoughts on boosters after a confirmed breakthrough case? I figure I can't even (eligibly) get one for a while if I did have it right? If it's even necessary at all?
Well I can't think of many other reasons I would lose my taste and smell with no other obvious symptoms. It's not confirmed because I was asymptomatic until this, and tested negative afterwards. So if it was covid, I was positive for an indeterminate amount of time. Or it wasn't covid, in which case I don't know why this is happening.
There are plenty of reasons you can lose your taste and smell. Number one, olfaction and gustation are closely linked. Taste is heavily tied to smell, and you can lose your sense of smell for various reasons such as inflammation, infection, and things like polyps or structural things that can block your olfactory nerves, like boogers.
Guess I'll use up my last 2 rapid tests and if still negative put this to rest for now then. Hopefully I can smell soon though lol
I lose my sense of smell and taste anytime I have a cold or sinus infection…
When I got covid, I noticed I lost those senses almost immediately… cold/SI usually takes 2-3 days

Additionally, J&Jers might want to fake unvaccinated because they basically are in the face of Omicron and there's no way the CDC updates guidance quickly enough to reflect that:

Omicron is likely to peak mid-January, so people just starting Pfizer and Moderna 2-dose courses barely have time to get vaccinated before then.
I did j&j first dose with Moderna booster, bring it on.
So you have a quarter of a Moderna vaccination because the booster was a half dose.
